Orre Poor in Iowa (OPIA) is a non-profit organization serving the Fur community in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids area. The organization was established in 2018 targeting many objectives, consistent with the principles on which Fur society is built, notably the principles of social and economic solidarity, reunifying the Fur tribe within the two cities mentioned above and the whole Iowa state, preserving Fur heritage and teach it to the younger generation, guide and helping new arrivals from the tribe getting jobs, education, and any other services they may need.
